Monday Monday

Hey there everyone I hope things are going awesome for you already. I know for me I couldn't sleep that well last night so I was up at 4am thinking and praying for our students. It was a long night mainly because I couldn't fall asleep till well after Midnight so I am running on some coca-cola, and Christ this morning :)

Anyways, this coming Wednesday is the Finally to our Eyes wide open series and I hope you can join us, its going to be powerful because I know God has got some amazing things planned!
We are going to be answering hard questions about Jesus Christ. Like was Jesus God and man at the same time, and if so how is that possible, or If Jesus rose from the grave in 3 days, where was he those 3 days? Those are all great questions and we are going to try to tackle them as best as possible. So come on out Wednesday night at 6:30, and stay till 8:30 we will have some really funny minute to win it games this coming Wednesday and also some great worship and prayer time as well.

So come on out!

Finally I want to say one last thing, we understand as a youth ministry that this school year is going to be hard for some of you out there, there have been life changes in a lot of your lives, but please if it gets hard, get a hold of us, we want to help, we want to pray with you and come along side of you this year! So please don't bottle that stuff up come and talk to us about it. Any of leaders here at CVMC would love to sit and talk with you. We are already praying for you, and asking God to love you in extraordinary ways. We love you guys as a family!

Have a great week.

1st day of school

I am so proud of our youth group, last night when we talking about this year being different, and this year being something to remember most of you stood, and want that. I commend you on taking a stand. Now the rubber meets the road and in you need to stand up for injustice at your school, your faith in Christ needs to lead your decision making, and then God can break loose in your school, and in your life!

So I encourage you today to start letting Christ guide your decision making process, and allowing Him to create opportunities to love others in ways you never knew how too.

So back to last night, we talked about the Bible, and how amazing this bible is and how even though its an ancient book. It still has relevance in today's culture. The bible has answers to your questions. And if you study the bible and dig deep into what it says it can honestly change your life.

So this is what I am offering to you. For some of you, you have no idea where to even start with your bible, and that's ok as long as you don't stay in that 1 spot for very long. If you want to learn more about how to navigate your way in studying the bible please email me and talk to me we have lots and lots of resources at our finger tips that we can use and give out. So if you are interested please email at cvmcadam@verizon.net or text me! We would love to get you started with other people around you to encourage you and help you in your journey with Christ.

Hope you have a great day everyone!

School starts soon!

Yikes School starts soon, oh my word where did this summer go? insane!

Oh well, this post will be shorter because I have a ton of things going on today, but I want to encourage you to come to Youth Group tomorrow night. We have some really fun things planned, but I want to try to get as many students there tomorrow night to pray for you heading back to school!

I honestly believe that this year can and will be different. God is stirring up things in students hearts that can and will bring revival to Northridge, Concord, and Goshen. So tomorrow night we are going to be praying over students during our worship time. So come tomorrow night and get ready for some awesome prayer time for this school year.

We need to be sending out warriors for Christ! Ambassadors for the kingdom, and I believe that the students from Crystal Valley can lead the cause! So get pumped for Youth Group tomorrow night.

Eyes Wide open pt 2

Hey there everyone, I am super excited for what is going down on Wednesday night. We have so many cool things that are coming up in the near future. Bigger and better is coming down the road here soon, we have a chance for you to serve on Sept 18th, and we have some great chances for you to bring your friends to some really cool and unique events.

This Wednesday we are going to be breaking down the bible. So many of you have questions about who wrote the bible, how do you know the bible is the Word of God, how did the bible come about? In continuing with our eyes wide open series we are going to dig deep into those questions, and try to help us understand that the Bible is so much more then just a book that you are told to read by your parents, and your youth pastor.

The Bible has some amazing stories, but it also has gone through so much through being banned from a lot of countries, to being the law for other countries, so come on Wednesday night and we are going to dig deep into the Word of God!

Can't wait to see you on Wednesday night!

Thursday morning blahhness

Hey there everyone, I hope things are going well for you guys this morning. I was up last night talking with our very own Nate Hickox till around midnight last night, and so my beautiful wife and I didn't even set an alarm for this morning because we were so tired from a great night last night at youth group.

For those who didn't get to make it last night here is a little recap on what we talked about.

We talked about the question how did life start. We brought up evolution and Intelligent design. Then we talked about how God in Genesis 1:1 created the Heavens and the Earth. Then we dove into one of the smallest forms of life we have cilia, and then we talked about how God knits us together even the smallest parts of us. Then we went big time and talked about our planet and how cool it was that God placed ever small detail in making out planet. We wrapped up by asking the question what if all these small details were all pointing us to a knowing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to live with our eyes wide open to see exactly what God has for us!

So that's what we talked about last night, but in a nutshell. We hope you guys can join us Next Wednesday for when we keep unpacking this eyes wide open series! I can't wait.

Hope to see you this Sunday as well as the Urban plunge team, and the DR team get to tell you what we did on our missions trip.

Praying for ya,
P.A.
