Hear, Speak, Do

Hey there everyone last night we had a great time! From the hair gel game to order up, to Jake Baylis leading worship for the first time. I loved it, a great energy, and a great time learning from one another in small group times.

Just a little recap of our challenge last night to you guys,

1. Hear the word of God! - Continue to place yourself in front of the Bible, you need to align yourself with what God's word is teaching. Saturate your mind in what God is telling us in His Word. We need to know God's word better then we know movie quotes, song lyrics, and funny jokes. We need to be inundated with God's word!
2. Speak the word of God - When you start placing yourself at the feet of Christ and start reading the bible, another thing we need to do is start speaking the Word of God out loud. When we look at Jesus life and when He was tempted He quoted scripture out loud, because He realigned Himself with God. The same thing we need to do when we are being tempted we need to speak God's word out loud so we can realign ourselves with Him.
3. Do - This is where you and Jesus have to have a conversation. I can't help in this situation I can help ask questions but when it comes down to it, this is where you have to step up! You can do some amazing things through Christ, but you have to spend time getting know what He has for you.

I hope you guys had a great time last night, I know I had a great time playing Chicken on the roof, and then seeing you guys really get into the questions in small group time. I hope and pray that you have a great weekend.
