Some Amazing things going down soon

Hey there everyone, I want to tell you about a really cool thing that REFUGE ministry is going to be a part of.

1. Urban plunge - This is a Regional mission trip we take every year over to Dayton, OH. This week long missions trip take place in downtown Dayton where homelessness, crime, lawlessness, and need run rampant. In Matthew 5 it talks about being a light in a dark place, so that people may see your good deeds. This missions trip is all about running into the dark and being a light. We have done this trip a couple times and each time the students come back fired up for Christ because they actually have done some amazing things for Christ.

We could tell some cool stories about when the van broke down, students prayed over it, and it started up. OR when you get to talk with homeless people about Christ, or when you get to meet senior citizens and you brighten up their day by playing chair volleyball.

So many great stories of that point people straight to Jesus.

We have 2 trips this year a senior high trip and a junior high trip. Both in July, and if you are interested in helping with this trip please email me at cvmcadam@gmail.com, or students you are interested please talk to me on Wednesday night.

The permission slips are going out tomorrow night, and we have our first training meeting in 2 weeks. The cost is $175 for this trip and that covers all meals, transportation, and lodging.

God has done, and is going to, some amazing things on this trip.
