Hey there everyone I hope you all had a great break! I know I had a great time with friends and family but I am ready to get back to a normal routine. Here are a couple things you will need to know about youth group in the next couple weeks!
1. We are back this Wednesday night we are going to be going over the next 3 months of youth ministry in detail and then spending sometime in our small groups re-connecting and praying for one another. We start at 6:30pm and we will be done at 8:30pm.
2. This Sunday night we are inviting all students to go to a free Sun stand still kick-off event. In the month of January we are going to be doing a series called Sun Stand Still and its going to be focusing on living an audacious faith! We are going to be challenging you guys to step out in faith with God by your side and do some pretty intense and awesome things. We are going to be heading over to Sugar Grove Church at 5:00pm. We will have a bus here to take us over and we will be done and back at CVMC at 8pm. We are going to have pizza and a ton of fun! This is for ALL Junior high and Senior High students! We just made this change for everyone to come.
3. Big Chill Winter Retreat - Feb 11th - 13th, We will be heading up to Mears, MI to camp adventure where we will spend 3 days and 2 nights hanging out and learning a ton about God. This event will be the wrap up to our Sun Stand Still series! At this retreat you will get the training and the knowledge to live out an audacious faith for Christ. The cost is $100, and the deadline to sign up and pay is January 30th. If you need more information contact Adam Sharp at cvmcadam@gmail.com.
