Living a life of fear

Hey there everyone, I hope your day is going well. I know mine is going well I am super busy today getting things ready for this Friday night for our Movie night, starts at 8pm, and then for our really insane busy day on Sunday with like 10 different things going on. The great thing is I love that our church has so many awesome things for our students to be a part of.

Last night was awesome, as I was reading over some of the things you guys were putting on the cross last night, man I was super proud of you guys for digging deep and really taking time to have a reality check about fear.

God is doing some awesome work in our students lives, and I super pumped about what He is going to do in these next couple weeks.

Here are some things that are coming up that you can be a part of.

1. This Friday night we are having a movie night at the church starts at 8pm, We are watching Tangled, and we will provide the popcorn. You guys can bring any other snacks you want! Also we are asking you guys to bring couches, bean bags, anything that will make this night comfy for you guys to watch this movie. I was asked if we could fit a car in the doors so they could watch it in their cars, and I said no but it would be fun to try. So this Friday 8pm!

2. Sunday night Doug Edlund is taking students to the Faith Mission in Elkhart to help serve 2 meals. We are leaving at 4pm from the church so if you guys want to go please get a hold of doug. Also they have asked us to bring cereal because they are low on cereal and we want to be able to give them as much cereal as we can. So if you are coming Friday night you can drop off a box of cereal.

3. June 10th-11th we are going to be doing a 30 hour famine to raise money and awareness about human trafficking. This event cost 20$ because we are going to be taking everyone over to Paiges crossing which has go karts, putt putt, arcade, driving range, and lots more. We are going to have so much stinking fun while we are there your head might explode. When we get back we are going to be making cardboard city, where you will have the opportunity to build a cardboard house and sleep in it that night, the next morning we are going to be getting up and heading over for another service project before coming back to Sugar Grove where we will break the fast with a meal. Going to be super fun!

So what we need our students to do is to start raising money for this event. We have handed out the last 2 weeks sheets with all the information about the event and why we are raising money, if you student hasn't brought that home please see Pastor Adam on Sunday and we can get you a sheet.

Hope you guys have a great day! if you have any questions about any of the events coming up please email Pastor Adam at cvmcadam@gmail.com

P.A.
